I am a social scientist studying the effect of scale on political behavior and public policy. My research grapples with the collective action problem of siting things that society needs, but nobody wants nearby. To do so, I leverage granular spatial data as well as original survey and experimental approaches.
I work at Baruch College, CUNY as an Assistant Professor of Political Science with a focus in Public Policy. I received my Ph.D. in Government and Social Policy from Harvard University in 2017. My research has been published in the American Political Science Review and Social Forces.
